Size guides

Sizing is the single most common reason someone comes back to swap something. These are the numbers we use at the counter. If you are between two sizes, message us — it is faster than guessing, and you can always try it on before you pay.

Boxing gloves

Gloves are sized by weight, not by hand. Ounces describe padding, not fit: a heavier glove protects your partner more, which is why most gyms set a sparring minimum. Ask your coach what the floor is before you buy.

Your bodyweight Glove Best for
Under 50 kg 8 oz Kids, teens, light bag work
50 – 60 kg 10 oz Pads and light sparring
60 – 70 kg 12 oz The all-round club glove
70 – 90 kg 14 oz Sparring at most gyms
90 kg+ 16 oz Heavier sparring, more padding

Weightlifting belt

Measure around your navel, not your trouser waist — a belt sits higher than jeans and the two numbers are usually 5–8 cm apart. Measure relaxed, not braced.

Waist at navel Belt size
66 – 76 cm S
76 – 86 cm M
86 – 96 cm L
96 – 107 cm XL

Knee sleeves

Measure the thigh 10 cm above the kneecap, leg straight and relaxed. 7 mm sleeves should be a fight to put on the first few times; that is the support doing its job.

Thigh circumference Sleeve size
33 – 38 cm S
38 – 43 cm M
43 – 48 cm L
48 – 53 cm XL

Karate gi

Gi sizing follows height in centimetres. Cotton shrinks on the first few washes, so if you are between sizes take the larger one and wash it hot once.

Height Gi size
140 – 150 cm 150
150 – 160 cm 160
160 – 170 cm 170
170 – 180 cm 180
180 – 190 cm 190
