A head guard with a moulded clear face shield that covers the whole face. Full-face guards are what clubs in Mauritius reach for when beginners spar and nobody wants a split lip or a broken nose on week two: the shield takes the contact instead of the face.
- Clear polycarbonate shield moulded to the nose and jaw, so it sits off the face rather than against it.
- Openings at the nose and mouth for breathing and for hearing instructions between rounds.
- Padded shell round the crown and ears, with rear adjustment.
- The shield reduces visibility at the edges compared with an open-face guard. Worth a round or two to get used to.
